Remote and windswept landscapes full of nature’s structures and rich palette of colours inspire me.   I work instinctively, photographing, painting, printmaking and drawing, often combining these mediums to create unique works of art that capture how a place feels, not just how it looks.  I like to tell stories and the titles of my work like ‘No place like home’ and ‘Wish that I’d worn wellies’ link back to memories from my childhood. Growing up on the Mendips, the wild weather and ever changing skies shaped my imagination.

I have a degree in Illustration and now split my time between working  as a freelance documentary photographer and artist alongside teaching A level Photography at Weston College.  Now I live happily in a little village called Shipham surrounded by beautiful countryside with my husband Tom and lovely sons.
