I’m Rachel, founder of keep-studio. A trained footwear designer with over 30 years in the fashion industry, including two decades with Clarks in Somerset.
With a growing dislike for fast fashion I transitioned to artisanal leatherwork in 2020 and set up keep-studio.
I design, pattern cut and hand-stitch durable, functional designs intended to last a lifetime. Exclusively using high-quality, sustainable, vegetable-tanned leathers, which are a byproduct of the food industry that would otherwise reach landfill.
By prioritising “Keep” over “consume,” I create timeless pieces that will age uniquely with you over time.
