Judith originally qualified in architecture, but her true love lies in painting and drawing. She returned to college as a mature student to complete her training in Fine Art. Living in Somerset for most of her life she draws her creativity from the expansive nature of the Somerset Levels with its sweeping vistas and ever-changing light. This provides her with endless inspiration for her ink and acrylic paintings. She is fascinated by the interplay between water, land and sky, creating a captivating tapestry of colours and textures. She invites the viewer to immerse themselves in this landscape, and hopes to awaken in them a sense of wonder and appreciation, where they can make their own personal connection with the quiet beauty of the Somerset Levels.
