“This centre is in the heart of the Somerset Levels, very close to the Nature reserves at Shapwick Heath and Westhay. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the art within is all sourced locally and often reflects local themes. The area is famous for the Starling Murmuration and the abundance of wildlife. The themes are reflected in the gallery with wonderful turned wood, glass, ceramics, prints, paintings and photography. There is a range of prices too to suit most pockets.
There is also a cafe …which prides itself on being eco-friendly. They serve whole-foods and snacks at reasonable prices and re-cycle all their waste and encourage you to do the same. great place to pop into if visiting the area. Toilets on site too, and access for people with disabilities.”
